There are a lot of obedience training classes in your area. Some pet shops even offer them. If you would like to have your obedience trained in your home, their are plenty of trainers who will come to your home. It is important to research all of the trainers, whether they are in home or training classes. Some trainers can be very expensive find out if they have referrals, ask your veterinarian or if your friends have used some one. You know the saying you get what you pay for so do your research. Make sure they are professional enough to know how to deal with your dogs behavior and how to train them properly. The training should be fun for the dog, remember it is a learning process. Praising the dog when he listens to a command is up to the trainer he/she may opt to give him a treat or just lots of love.

Consistency and patience is of vital importance. You must follow through with what the dog has learned when the trainer is not there. If you dont follow through your dog may never learn to listen to you.

Obedience training will ensure a happy and healthy relationship between the dog owner and the dog. This is just another example of how important dog care is.

Remember a good dog is a happy and healthy dog.

Worry not as this article will provide a simple guide on how to teach your dog to play fetch as part of a dog obedience program.

It is always a great idea to start obedience training at an early stage. It is even better if you start when the puppy is still very young. The ideal age to start teaching your puppy is four months old, although it may vary from different dog breeds. Larger dogs might need to start earlier.

As part of the training to teach your dog to play fetch, start the syllabus by picking up exciting toys. A perfect example for an exciting toy is a squeaky toy. When you show this toy to the dog, it will get excited. Try not to use its favorite toy, as it will ruin your perfect plan for this dog obedience training.

To play fetch, you need to teach three things to the dog. These steps are easy and can easily be the simplest agenda in a dog obedience program. You need to teach the dog to get the toy, give it to you and let go of it. Start by throwing the toys not far away, say 1 to 2 feet in this step. Motivate your puppy to get the toy. Then, try to attract its attention by calling its name or even clapping your hand. This way, your puppy will go back to you.

When the little dog comes to you, remember to praise it verbally and with a joyful character at this part of the training. Distract it with another toy or with a small treat so it will release the toy in its mouth. Teach your dog to hand the toy to you with simple instructions like Give it to me apart from the treats. It is a good practice so the dog will remember these steps. Usually, dogs will happily give the toy they have when it sees another toy in its owners hands.

After repeating these steps a few times during dog obedience program, your pet will soon learn the basics to play fetch. You can now throw the object farther as an advanced dog obedience learning session. Then, you can change the tool you use in the dog obedience program like using Frisbees. It will be a fun way to conduct dog obedience program.

When you have completed the dog obedience program, you will see that the whole family will enjoy playing fetch with the dog. After all, it is worth the effort that you put in during the dog obedience training.

As the name suggests, this is an important statement because this is what form’s your dog into the family member not just the canine lodger that gets under your feet. Like everything in life dog obedience training must be done correctly, people are under the misconception that you acquire your chosen dog, you feed it, you walk it, it sleeps, but the reality is there’s a bond that needs to be formed with your dog the same way you form a bond between yourself and your children! Now there’s all forms of dog training methods, dog house training, dog training schools, dog training books, use of a dog training collar and also some teach potty training dog methods generally for puppy training programs (by the way not only do most dog trainers not teach this they don’t teach it the way this particular dog obedience trainer does, but more on this extremely successful dog trainer later).

However it’s also how these techniques are implemented to gain your dogs trust and respect which is of the utmost importance before any dog training can begin! Personally I’ve used a great deal of dog trainers, I’ve used dog obedience training techniques and dog training tip’s from dvd’s, videos and books which had some impact on what I was striving to achieve but never with long lasting results, so I then realized like I have mentioned that it’s the approach and attitude combined with technique all executed in the right way!

Now with the recipe for success above in place of what dog obedience training really is, this brings me to finding the the ideal tutor to instill the right behavior and make-up of what makes your dog what they should be, and the great thing about this is it also brings out character hence mutual respect and bonding which is the important point of having your family dog in the first place.

I started looking on the internet after all other avenues mostly failed me. I had briefly noticed one particular website that caught my eye and when i started reading the page i was blown away, the site simply held me transfixed as it had ‘dog obedience training performed in the correct way’ embedded in it across the page, the techniques are new, there’s simple but very powerful methods that are ground breaking, theres a lot of free tips on the page to digest and I couldn’t believe a lot of other things happening on this webpage.

Theres more to tell about this trainer and how you can learn from her arsenal of knowledge, her methods are unrivaled and I can assure you she dominates her field, and in my opinion has the dog obedience training market cornered, but for you to get more of an insight into her methodology you really should visit my blog about this marvelous dog trainer where if your intrigued by her and want to actually visit the website theres a text link there directly to the page i’m so struck with her methods I had to write this article so visit my blog then visit the website and watch the free video sample lesson, i really think this is a must for you and your family and your dogs relationship thanks for reading my article and watch out for more John!….Blog-ed.

Dog obedience training.

So to summarize my article on dog obedience training. Basically i want to bring the public to the attention of not only new ground breaking methods in dog obedience training performed, but about the dog trainer herself she has an highly respected CV in this market not to be ignored! I’ve written more info about this dog trainer on my blogs in more detail with a link to her website so i really hope you enjoy your visit to both my blogs at http://www.dog—–obedience—–training.blogspot.com/ where you will find the link to the ‘dog obedience training website’ again thank you for your interest….John….Blog-ed!

Getting frustrated that your dog jumps up on people when you are visiting friends? Can’t understand why your dog runs away from you at the park while everyone else’s happily comes back? The simple answer is; have you tried dog obedience – queensland training? It is simple, effective and very fun to do if you have the right attitude and patience.

The basics of dog obedience training and teaching your dog to sit, stay and come. These basic training commands will be extremely beneficial to you later on in your dog’s life. When you take your dog out you don’t want him to be running crazy in the street, you want to show him as the perfect dog that he is! Dog obedience training can be achieved in a matter of weeks with the right attention, dedication and patience.

There are a lot of obedience classes and books available. So if you can’t teach your dog by yourself there is plenty support at the class. There may also be other dogs there. Not only are you training your dog you are socializing him. Which of course is the next step after sit, stay and come. Dogs are kind of like children to an extent, except with a lot of fur, they need to be taught right and wrong.

I always find that treats are a great method of dog obedience – queensland training; you award them with a special treat when they have done something you have asked them to. If they don’t respond they don’t get a treat. There is no point shouting at your dog as he will only become scared of you and you don’t want that, you want to form a happy relationship with him. Dog’s are a man’s best friend!

When teaching your dog obedience – queensland try and teach him away from distractions like his toys, take him to an empty field or park where there aren’t any people, only you and him. Tell him firmly but nicely that you want him to sit, then take your hand and place it on his back and gently guide his bottom down, when it is down say sit and tell him he’s a good boy then reward him with a treat. Repeating this over and over again will make him realize that when you say sit you mean for him to sit and he gets rewarded, soon enough he will know to sit when you tell him to and the treats are no longer necessary.

Getting him to stay is another thing, you’ll probably need another person for that. Get him to sit, once he has learned how and get a friend to hold him. Walk away from him telling him to stay, using your hand. Hold your hand up firmly and by doing this it will make him realize that when you hold your hand up in the future you want him to stay, not just when you tell him to. Then give it a few seconds and let your friend release him, when he comes to you make him sit and tell him how clever he is! Don’t forget to reward him. While using this technique you are also teaching your dog how to come to you as well, so don’t forget to say “come” to him, not just his name.

When dogs are born they are like soft clay, they need to be molded and shaped. You can teach your dog from any age and the younger you start the easier it is. Like they say: you can’t teach an old dog new tricks – we say you can!!!
